Project Description
Era Test
ERA indicates the window of implantation (WOI), increasing your chances of successful transfer
What is ERA Test?
The Endometrial Receptivity Test is a test that analyses the level of expression of 238 genes related to the status of endometrial receptivity.
What is the purpose of ERA Test?
It is used to evaluate the stage of an endometrium and determine the receptivity and implantation of a personalized window for each patient.
Who should use ERA Test and why?
The test has been proven in pstients with at least 3 implantation failures in young women or 2 implantation failures in patients 37 years old or more. A displaced window of implantation is detected in approximately 25% of these patients. The test is indicated for patienmts with and apparently normal uterus and with an endometrium of normal thickness 6mm or more.
Advantages of ERA Test
The classical method of endometrial dating is based on histological criteria. However, it has been proven that these criteria do not discriminate between fertile and infertile patients and are subjective, meaning that they have not clinical application. The ERA Test has been shown to be sensitive and specific in the detection of genetic profiles associated with receptivity which gives each patient the advantage of implantation before the patient starts the procedure of assisted reproduction.
