Maria Papalouka

Clinical Embryologist

Maria Papalouka graduated from the Department of Biology of the University of Crete in 1996. Upon her graduation, she worked at the IVF Unit of Mitera Fertility Clinic as a graduate under the supervision of Dr. Ann Kiessling, graduate of the Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. In 2002, she joined the Reproductive Medical Unit.

She has been trained and attended several seminars and workshops abroad on:

• Cryopreservation of human gametes, embryo and ovarian tissue
• Pre-implantation genetic diagnosis
• In vitro maturation of oocytes

In 2014, she completed her Master’s Degree in “Research for Woman Reproduction” at the Medical School of the University of Athens.

She is a certified clinical embryologist from the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
