The role of the laboratory in an IVF attempt is decisive for the achievement of the desired result, i.e. the acquisition of a child.
All micromanipulations and processing of the gametes inside the lab require not only a great amount of experience, but also a broad range of knowledge about the functioning of the cell.
A large number of complex procedures such as ICSI, cryopreservation of embryos and sperms, as well as semen processing for the fertilization are perfomed in the laboratory with a sense of accountability and responsibility.
All this contributes towards establishing the workshop as a key-factor, if not as the most important factor, to a successful effort.
